Komen Philadelphia 2009
The Philadelphia 2009 walk was a beautiful day and I was able to share it with my daughters, granddaughter and sister (and my husband). To feel the sun and breeze on my face, to hear the noise and to see all the bustling going on.
After my cancer treatments, it took awhile to recoup my strength and energy, I would participate in events but never make it the whole way through. This year 2009, I finally was able to finish my first walk. I was estactic and felt that I had accomplished another small step in getting my life back in shape.
